Over-the-threshold transaction (equivalent to over EUR 15,000)
In Walutomat, it is possible to place exchange orders whose total value exceeds the equivalent of more than EUR 15,000 (converted at the average NBP exchange rate of the day). This does not require any additional action on the part of the User.
However, under the Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism Act, Walutomat is obliged to provide the General Inspector of Financial Information (GIIF) with information on operations whose total monthly value exceeds the equivalent of EUR 15,000 (converted according to the average exchange rate of the National Bank of Poland on a given day), regardless of whether it is one exchange order or several, interrelated ones.
